I figure since it's the rainy season I'd bring up blues guitar legend Muddy Waters. Why? Oh, I'm sure there are plenty of reasons. But one good reason to bring up this particular artist...his music.
Waters grew up in the cotton country of Mississippi and taught himself to play harmonica as a child. He took up the guitar somewhat later and eagerly absorbed the classic delta blues styles of Robert Johnson, Son House, and others. Yeah, he sure got his name around. Almost everybody knows his name. Just think about all the blues legends we don't know about, though...
